Dear Parents and Children   I would like to begin my letter by welcoming you all to Cyprus and Episkopi School.  I hope that your time here will be a happy, enjoyable and fruitful experience.   I believe it is my responsibility as Headteacher together with my staff, to provide opportunities for all our young people to grow and develop academically, socially and personally.

Episkopi School is a 'can do' school, by that I mean where all of us, teachers, LSAs, parents and children strive at all times to promote an atmosphere of self-belief, self-confidence and self-awareness.  Each child in this school will be given every chance to be the best they can in a warm, caring and supportive environment.   I set high expectations for all my staff and expect that parents will join us in partnership to achieve them, it is a two-way process.   All children are different: they have different skills, abilities, knowledge and attitudes – we should cherish that. Your child only has one chance at primary school: together let’s make it a chance worth taking and one they will enjoy.   No school is perfect and Episkopi School isn’t, but what we are is positive, committed and caring - join us, we ‘can do’ together.   Yours sincerely PETER KERR Headteacher
